Kara Walker, MS, PA-C, Board-Certified and Missouri Licensed Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant
Kara is a nationally board-certified and Missouri licensed plastic surgery physician assistant who offers the latest advances in non-surgical aesthetic procedures and treatments. She helps patients attain a natural, youthful appearance through a variety of facial rejuvenation procedures including: BOTOX® Cosmetic, Kybella and injectable fillers (such as Juvederm®, Voluma® and Volbella®). Kara has advanced training in scar revision procedures, advanced hair restoration treatments and laser treatments.

Her gentle touch and caring personality make each of her patients comfortable during their treatments. Kara has spent several years alongside Dr. Shah studying plastic surgery and assisting in surgical procedures, which allows her to provide accurate surgical recommendations and advice. Kara conducts surgical consultations and can ensure that your first visit will be relaxed, informative and exciting. Kara graduated with honors from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master degree in Natural and Applied Sciences. She spent several years as a scientist with the Mercy Medical Research Institute working with with Dr. Shah on several research projects including the development of a Pediatric Surgical Positioner and a Plastic Jaw Wiring Apparatus. She received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, American Association of Physician Assistants and the Missouri Association of Physician Assistants.
